![]() ![]() The way the gold stickers follow the natural flow of the breastplate is brilliant. Nice job with the gradient pattern on the horns for the gold accents. When you have that much (awesome) shit going on, you gotta simplify your colors scheme. Ventilation holes too! One thing I'd do is color match the neck wrap and shoulder armor with the waist cloth. The golden horn extends out from the gold engravings on the siren's helm, which also connects with the gold of the cog crown and the gold on the FOS. One of the most visually striking knights I've ever seen. He's like a pimped-out version of the Dark Souls 2 Dragonrider gone P90X. Swimming pool pattern for extra water theme. Good job merging the scaly waist wrap into the zipper stickers on his flanks. Not my style, but you might be on to something.Īlastor: Looks alot like Gatsu's DS Ornstein or Artorias, but you put an interesting nautical spin to it. And the orange/purple color scheme has that strange appeal. I like how you combined the Seong Mina shoulder with the feathers of strength. I'd give a more subtle pattern to the bat wings, like straight chain mail, but it still looks great. ![]() His background is a clear nod to GoT Ser Robert Strong. Like a hybrid of Renly Baratheon and the Mountain. Combined with the branch-like horns, they establish a very strong tree theme. The bulky, spiky shoulders balance with the waist armor. Nice job using the gradient pattern to shade in the chest piece too. The FOS give shape (cheekbones!) to the usually clunky Templar helm, and the golden phoenix + angel wing sticker combo blends the eyes into the horns. It's barely noticeable, but if I had to change one thing, it would be to shade in or remove the large button on his crotch. Red and gold fits the whole backstabbing douche-bag backstory too. I also think this is the first time I've seen the Egyptian skirt combined with the wrestling belt. The laurel wreath sticker adds a lot of bling to the design. Gatsu has used the FOS to form that spiky ornament a number of times before, but the way you position them to reshape the eye-holes on the mask is new. ![]() All the pieces on the helmet blend seamlessly. Corsets (let alone green ones) are utterly ridiculous for men IRL, but this WoW-style design is delightfully over-the-top. ![]() The green corset really makes him stand out, and it goes especially well with that orange-ish pattern on the skirt. Galan: The horns on the shoulder piece enhance the asymmetry. Thornstein1: Clever, using patterns to blend the feathers (FOS) with the chest plate. A similar trick can be done with the Deadly Sphere Staff, Lucky Coin and Arcane Flower. It is possible for a Lucky Horseshoe to generate or be reforged with the modifier "Lucky", giving it the name "Lucky Lucky Horseshoe".A set of wings seems to remove any and all usefulness of this item, saving the player an accessory slot, as it also negates fall damage completely, but Lucky Horseshoes can be accessed much sooner than all but one of the different wing types, seeing as most wings can only be obtained in Hardmode. Once the player has found a Grappling Hook and/or a Cloud in a Bottle, the Lucky Horseshoe loses some of its usefulness, and can potentially be swapped out, although having one equipped is always a good safeguard, as the Grappling Hook can take some time to retract, and the Cloud in a Bottle can only be used once per fall. The Lucky Horseshoe can be very handy when exploring chasms, as the player will not need to worry about being damaged from long vertical drops. On the Nintendo 3DS version, a Lucky Horseshoe can be found underground on the far left of the Tutorial island. This accessory does not work when the player is suffering from the Stoned debuff, which also incurs much more severe fall damage than normal. ![]()
